Messages from the dignitaries

Over the next few days, the long-awaited Québec City Summer Festival (FEQ) will bring new life to the streets of Old Québec.
The organizing committee has once again put together a stellar lineup featuring old favourites and emerging talent, along with international and local artists.
Each year, the FEQ puts Québec City in the national and international spotlight for its vibrant culture, food scene, and appeal for visitors.
That’s why the FEQ creates such a buzz of excitement here, and Ville de Québec is proud to be one of the financial partners.
Thank you to BLEUFEU and the volunteers whose enthusiasm and dedication make this event a success.
Festival goers, be sure to enjoy all the amazing performances to the fullest. And make time to visit our beautiful city. From outdoor activities to sports, history, and culture, you’ll find it all here.
Welcome, everyone. Have a great stay in Québec City, and enjoy the festival!

Bruno Marchand
Mayor of Québec

Every summer, the Vieille Capitale comes alive to the beat of the Festival d’été de Québec, an iconic event that has showcased the musical landscape of Quebec, Canada and the whole world for nearly 60 years. The FEQ—a veritable crossroads of cultures—allows a diversity of voices to be heard and opens stages to the sounds of the world, while also carving out a special place for home-grown artists.
Whether it’s on large outdoor stages or in more intimate venues, the FEQ attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors in a spirit of celebration, discovery and artistic union. Our government is proud to support this event, which contributes to our cultural and economic vitality and strengthens Québec City’s reputation as a first-class tourist destination.
As Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, I would like to thank everyone who helped bring the 2025 FEQ to life.

The Honourable Steven Guilbeault
